These Reusable Mesh Bags Are So Durable, They Come With a Lifetime Warranty – And Their Tare Weight!
There are several things that I like about these reusable mesh bags, but my favourite is that the have their own weight on the bag. So if you’re buying produce, when you get to the checkout, you won’t pay extra for the weight of the bag!
Here’s my review of these reusable mesh bags – the pros AND the cons!
The bags are made from polyester, which is made from petroleum, a fossil fuel, so that’s NOT great for the environment. However, they are probably more durable than, say cotton bags. It takes a lot of water to grow cotton, so everything we buy has an environmental cost. Also, cotton wouldn’t be as see-through as the polyester mesh is.
They are durable and washable, so you can carry on re-using them for a long time, which does make them more eco-friendly. Many reviewers say they’ve had their for ages and they’re still in good condition!
There are 12 bags altogether, in 3 different sizes, which is useful for different items. 4 x Large (12 x 17 inch), 4 x Medium (12 x 13.7 inch), 4 x Small (2 x 8.3 inch).
I like that they’re multi-functional – they’re not just for produce. You can also use them to hold school lunches, gym clothes, laundry delicates, small sports equipment, beach trips, toys, office supplies, camping trips, road trips, and, well, virtually anything that needs to be organized!
You close the bags using drawstrings – often I find drawstrings are very short, these are nice and long (actually very long, they do sometimes get tangled with other things).
