A round-up of this week’s environmental, green and ecofriendly news and updates.
Don’t be fooled by the supposedly green credentials of Boxed Water now selling well in stores across the US and elsewhere.
It’s ALWAYS better to use the water that’s piped to your home – even if you use a water filter, or a Sodastream or similar to add fizz afterwards.
Packaging and transporting water (which is  heavy) is lousy for the environment.
Yes, a paper carton is less bad than petroleum-based plastic, but it’s still a single-use disposable item. Plus, the carton also contains polyethylene plastic and aluminum, which makes it hard to recycle – but even recycling the packaging doesn’t come close to off-setting the impact of its production.
Do you suffer from back pain?
There are some obvious causes – but some of them are much more sneaky!
You’ll be surprised at what can cause back pain! Find out here.Â
Here’s an eco friendly beauty tip:- exfoliate (naturally, of course!).
In winter when it’s cold, there’s no point in slathering on the moisturizer if there’s still dead skin cells on top.
So exfoliate first, then your moisturizer can really work.
And don’t spend money on chemical peelers or exfoliators – be green and use a loofah or similar when you’re in the shower.  Or make your own sugar scrub. Once or twice a  week is fine – less often if you have skin problems.

Menopausal symptoms can be pretty uncomfortable.
But maybe, just maybe – this particular food can help.
