Now that you know how to make eco friendly make up ….
- Eco friendly blush or blusher

- Eco friendly eye shadow
- Eco friendly make up tips
…. It’s time to find out how to safely remove that make up.
Especially at night – you don’t want to go to bed with make up still on. Remove it and let your skin breathe.
So here are some recipes for eco friendly make up remover.
The Simplest Eco Friendly Make up Remover
- Pour equal parts of olive oil and pure witch hazel into a clean bottle. Shake well.
That’s it – couldn’t be simpler!
Tip: check the ingredients when you buy witch hazel. Some have all sorts of additives.
Waterproof Eco Friendly Make up Remover
- 2 Tbsp coconut or jojoba oil
- 2 Tbsp pure witch hazel
- 2 Tbsp pure filtered water
- 1 tsp vitamin E (optional – it benefits your skin but isn’t necessary for removing make up).
- Add to a clean bottle and shake well before every use.
- Put some liquid on your fingers or on a cotton ball or make up pad. Swipe over closed eyes.
This can also be used to tidy up stray make up when you apply it.
What About Baby Oil?
I know many people who use baby oil to remove make up, or even as a moisturizer. You’d think baby oil would be safe, wouldn’t you?
But baby oil is essentially mineral oil (which is made from petroleum) (also known as liquid paraffin) and it also contains “fragrance” (which can be anything – fragrance is a horrible catch-all phrase ).
No thanks – it’s just so easy to use plant ingredients instead!
It’s Easy and Green!
As you can see, it’s incredibly easy to make safe, natural and eco friendly make up remover!
You’ll never have to buy it in the shops ever again, and you don’t need to worry about what’s in in it, because you’ll know – you made it yourself, with the best ingredients!
